Pedro Vargas has had a great interest for drawing and creating characters at a very early age. Growing up, his interest in drawing expanded into other art forms such as painting, digital art, animation and comics.

With animation, he studied at Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in animation. His school experience served as a great steppingstone to further hone his animation skills in his own time, in which that experience translated into helping develop his skills with his other interests. He also studied briefly under John Kricfalusi, creator of The Ren and Stimpy Show, through Kricfalusi's Cartoon College blog in 2010, which helped Pedro a great deal in learning more about a character’s build-up as well as the inner workings of TV animation production.

Pedro's work experience includes Stan Lee’s World of Heroes, The Topps Company, Inc., Bob's Big Boy, Yoe Books! and IDW Publishing to name a few.
